The SALP Writing 1 course is an intensive IELTS writing programme designed to guide you through the language acquisition, production and practice needed to assist you meet the academic writing requirements for foreign universities. The whole course is divided into sections designed to address each band descriptor category requirement and help give you the confidence to produce high-quality Task 1 and 2 responses. Moreover, it addresses the most common difficulties encountered when responding to Task 1 and 2 questions, and offers a number of clear strategies for tackling this task and addresses each band descriptor requirement individually.As writing is an incremental skill that develops through constant practice and corrective feedback, there is a significant amount of independent study required and students are expected to complete both classwork and assigned self-study.
